If your door is stiff to lock or unlock , maybe the door is hitting the frame or dragging on the bottom edge ? They may only need adjustment , however if left the situation will only get worse possibly ending in lock failure and an expensive repair . 

Many doors will decide to fail in the locked position leaving you either locked in or locked out !. In addition to our normal stock, we also carry a large range of obsolete or discontinued locking systems and hardware . If you are unlucky enough to have a mechanism that is no longer available, then we can modify your door to accept a later model . Usually this can be completed at a fraction of the price of a new door .
